Last Thursday, my college took the entire art department on a trip to London, to viset the Saatchi Gallery and The TATE Modern for the Gerhard Richter exhibition. the Saatchi was brilliant, i really enjoyed its curious ways, especialy the sculptures and many of the paintings.
Here are some of my favorate peices from the Saatchi Gallery....

Now.... onto The Tate...
WOW, what an experience theres SO much stuff there i'll never begin to be able to list, find or explain in any detail, so many wonderful paintings, especially the cubist exhibition (lots of Braque, Picasso, Gris), lots of installations and sculptures, i could spend months there, getting to know each and every piece.
The Gerhard Richter exhibition was phenomenal, i never apreciated his work having seen much of his work in books, magazines, websites and album covers (Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation) but in the flesh, his work is so powerfull, partly due to the scale which also lends the detail no photograph could.
so here are a few fantastic paintings of his...
